On planet earth, 1964: scientists began measuring the level of technical advancements a civilization can achieve based on the amount of energy they use and their ability to communicate. The popular science community named this method the Kardashev scale.

Little known to the larger science community, this scale was based on an ancient artifact discovered centuries ago in Africa. What looked like a giant shard of broken green glass covered in a language and hieroglyphs foreign to this world, would turn out to be a piece of a cosmic structure only found in the spirit dimension called the Prism Scale.

The Prism Scale is a tool used by ancestral spirits that have sworn to look after and protect their living bloodlines. The Scale can be used for many things like observing all life inhabiting planets as well as act as a means of communication between worlds. But the main purpose of the Prism Scale is to determine what living species will advance high enough in their astral abilities before the ancestors can begin to make direct contact with them and pass on wisdom that will make the recipient species the most powerful beings in the galaxy.
